Is this you?

Coach A — enough coaching hours, preparing to apply for PCC.

ICF requires 10 hours of mentor coaching. She has worked with a mentor and knows a session rightly focuses on what she brings that day — but in one hour, no one can walk her through all 37 Markers. She still isn't sure: against the official standard, where is she solid, and where short?

If after every session
you held a report mapped to all 37 Markers,
what would your 10 hours become?

Coach B — already ACC, wants to step up to PCC steadily.

She knows she's stuck somewhere, but can't name which competencies. She doesn't want encouragement — she wants a clear map.

If you could see your own radar —
which competencies are steady at PCC, which need two more reps —
which would you practise first?

Coach D — already ACC, and renewal is due.

Most people assume the 10 hours of mentor coaching are a one-off at application. They aren't: ACC renews every three years, and each renewal requires another 10 hours of mentor coaching — counted toward the Core Competency credits. Rather than just clearing the hours again, this round can also leave you a record of how your coaching actually changed over three years.

If these 10 hours ended with a radar showing three years of growth,
which competency would you look at first?

C — head of a coaching school / training organisation.

Her students all need the 10 hours of mentor coaching ICF requires. She needs an ICF mentor coach — and a way to see every student's progress.

If each student's mentoring hours and growth
were visible on one dashboard,
how much lighter would running the school feel?

What ICF mentor coaching is

Mentor Coaching is a required part of the ICF credentialing path: an experienced coach gives feedback on your real coaching recordings, against the ICF standard, to help you build your skills to the target level.

ICF's hard requirement
To apply for ACC or PCC you must complete 10 hours of mentor coaching over at least 3 months, of which at least 3 hours are 1-on-1. This is ICF's published rule, not a bar I set.

✓ What you get here

  • ICF-recognised mentor-coaching hours (ACC / PCC)
  • A 37-Marker analysis report with each session
  • Live 1-on-1 mentoring · Chinese / English / French
  • For organisations: a per-student progress dashboard

✗ What this is not

  • No MCC-level mentor coaching — ICF requires the mentor to be MCC; I am currently PCC
  • Not a substitute for the ICF assessment — the final evaluation is ICF's
  • Not a "guaranteed pass" — it builds you to the standard

Not just a session — a complete map

A good mentoring session focuses on what you most want to work on that day — rightly so. But in one hour, no one can walk through all 37 Markers. Here, every session also leaves you a report mapped to all 37 Markers — turning the corners one session can't reach into a complete map.

📋 Each session = a report
Your real recording → all 37 Markers assessed + verbatim quotes + rewrite suggestions
📊 Radar overlay
Across sessions, watch your 8 competencies shift and grow
✅ Visible growth
Not "I feel I've improved", but "I know which Markers are now steady"

About your mentor

When I was preparing for PCC myself,
what I most wished for
was someone to tell me, against the actual Markers:
this line — here's where it falls short.

So my mentoring,
beyond working the topic you bring,
leaves you a complete map across all 37 Markers.

A few common questions
Do your sessions count as ICF-recognised hours?
Yes. Live 1-on-1 mentor coaching meets ICF's hour requirement for ACC / PCC applications. The accompanying analysis report is an extra aid — the report itself doesn't count; what counts is the live mentoring we actually do.
Is mentor coaching needed for renewal too?
For ACC, yes: the credential renews every three years, and the 40 CCE credits must include 10 hours of mentor coaching (counted as Core Competency credits). PCC and MCC also renew every three years and also need 40 credits, but ICF does not mandate mentor coaching at those levels. ICF's current published rules govern.
Why no MCC-level mentor coaching?
ICF requires the mentor's level to equal or exceed the level the mentee is applying for. I am currently PCC, so I mentor for ACC and PCC only. When I earn MCC, I'll open it up. Honesty matters more than taking the booking.
Does the 10-session pack mean I'll get PCC?
No. Mentor coaching is one required step of the ICF application; you also need coaching hours, the exam, and more. What I can do is build your skills to the PCC standard and let you see clearly where you are. The credential itself is awarded by ICF.
Can recordings be in Chinese / English / French?
All three. Both the mentoring and the report support Chinese, English and French, and you choose the report language.
What about client privacy?
Please anonymise the recording before uploading (remove names, companies, identifying details). We only look at the coaching technique — no client identity is needed. Source files are deleted within 30 days.
